Slide 1: Welcome to the TOOL project 'How to' presentation. This presentation will show you the basics of using the website and the language courses. There is also full documentation that will show you how to use every aspect of the website and courses in detail. Now let's Login using the 'Login Tab' in the Upper menu.
Slide 2: Login using your assigned User name and Password.
Slide 3: This is the Overview page of all the available courses. There are many features here to help you, including: 1.'My Page' 2. Activities 3. Message box 4. Tutor 5. Your profile 6. Information 7. Writing 8. My diary 9. My vocabulary
Let's first have a look at a Language course. We will choose the Dutch course.
Slide 4: In each course you will also find some useful tools to help you: A section on Grammar, Vocabulary and as this is a Dutch course made in Antwerp, on Belgium culture.
Slide 5: Each course is arranged in Modules. Each module is made up of individual learning units. Each learning unit has a number of exercises. The exercises include Images, Audio, Text and Video. Let's have a look at a Module.
Slide 6: Here we are in Module 1. We can see the links to the Learning units in the side menu.
We will choose Unit 2 : Living and Hobbies.
Slide 7: In each unit you can start using the exercises.
Slide 8: Here is an example of an exercise.
Slide 9: Read the text and then select the best answer from the Drop-down boxes. Select the 'Corrections' button at the bottom to see how well you have done.
